However, in my humid climate, it takes forever to get the inside dry, even using the paper towel trick. We are currently on day two of trying to get it dry.

If you're kid, have small hands or arthritis like me these can be pretty heavy (I bought other bottles of different sizes) too. They also say will fit in cup holder BUT try to wedge them in there because of the silicone - GOOD LUCK! They are still safer than plastic.
